Eastern Academic Health Science Network supports economic growth by connecting the NHS to industry for patient benefit.
We bring together industry partners with the health and social care sectors, speeding up development and uptake of innovations.
This Innovation Pathway has been designed in conjunction with all 15 AHSN networks to help innovators navigate the support available and to describe how AHSNs can accelerate the development and adoption of innovations in the NHS to improve patient care. The pathway describes how AHSN coordinated support with partners who can provide a unique opportunity for industry to access bespoke services in a seamless fashion, covering the life cycle of innovation from the conception of an idea to potential funding via SBRI Healthcare and other programmes and then through to its eventual adoption and realisation of commercial success.
The Eastern AHSN is here to support companies to engage in the NHS in order to improve patient care in the East of England region.
We’ve recently published a series of fact sheets designed to help innovators navigate their way to a successful outcome. Each fact sheet forms a comprehensive but not exhaustive source of information outlining the intricacies of the Innovation Pathway, such as:
