As part of our work to build a reliable improvement infrastructure across the region, Eastern AHSN has partnered with other AHSNs to purchase and launch the ‘Life’ Quality Improvement platform. The ‘Life’ software was developed by SeeData Ltd in partnership with South West AHSN and it is now being made available under license through Eastern AHSN for you to use at no cost.

What is ‘Life’ and how can it help you?

The ‘Life’ platform supports front line NHS teams to plan, monitor and report progress of their safety and quality improvement projects and has the capacity to connect them to a QI community of practice across the country, encouraging collaboration with teams working on similar challenges. The attached document will also give you an overview of the tool.

What do I need to do next to access the ‘Life’ tool?

Following the launch of the ‘Life’ tool at the Action on Frailty event in September 2016, the tool is now live and available for you to use to support your quality improvement work. Go to where you can get an overview of the tool and its main features and benefits. To sign up to use the tool, register your interest on the site at using the ‘sign-up’ button, which will allow you to start the registration process.

Want to see a live demo of the ‘Life’ tool in action?

If you want to see how the ‘Life’ platform works in action, Eastern AHSN is doing a live demonstration of the ‘Life’ platform via a webinar on 16 December 2016 at The demonstration will be facilitated by Papworth Hospital (Dr Stephen Webb, Dr Calum Worsley and Barbara Hercliffe) who are currently running a number of quality improvement projects on the ‘Life’ platform.
