Across England, local health and care systems are developing their Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STPs) to describe how they will meet the challenges faced by health and social care providers in delivering services for the benefit of local communities.
Our new STPackage, launching today, provides a menu of support available to assist areas to turn strategic visions into actions that benefit our communities. We see partnership working with NHS, social care, academia and industry to adopt and scale proven innovations as being a core enabler to the successful implementation of STPs. Our remit is to bring these sectors together with other partners to spread proven innovations across the region.
Victoria Corbishley, Director of Core Programmes at Eastern Academic Health Science Network, said:
“Our new STPackage outlines the various support available to enable strategic plans to be turned into real actions that will directly benefit our local communities. All the support offered by the Eastern Academic Health Science Network is targeted at improving the delivery of sustainable, high quality health and care services”.
For each element, the document describes the issue, the offer and the timescales for getting involved. The STPackage will adapt with additional support areas being added overtime.
